Shakti Yoga Flow |
Untamed

Come home to your body. Live from fullness.

An 8-week feminine embodiment circle for women

Richardson Home Temple, Canberra

Tuesday evenings, beginning 28th July

Taster Circle Available

There is a woman who lives beneath the good girl.

We’re trained to live from the outside in, performing, managing, staying palatable, chased by the sense that there’s never enough time. And somewhere in that, the thread between a woman and her own body goes quiet.

But beneath the good girl we’re trained to be lives the wild woman. Your true nature, untamed by what others expect you to be. She was never lost, only forgotten.

Over eight weeks, you’ll come home to your own body and begin to live from the inside out, present to what’s real in you, sourced from within. A spacious life that feels like yours.

This is Shakti yoga in its most distilled form: the raw, living current of feminine energy, met directly through movement, breath, voice and rest.

A beautiful journey of continued embodiment and waking up to the Goddess within. The series continues to inform a deeper knowing and trust in Self and the intelligence of the body and feeling into the magic of being incarnate in this body. Kate your presence and guidance is second to no circle I have been part of. You are truly a circle facilitator par excellence and love every moment of it.

The medicine of this practice

Kate Dillon guiding four women in meditation on the sand, her hands outstretched as they rest with hands on heart and womb.

This practice is about reconnecting with the aliveness that lives in you right now.

Over 8 weeks, your mind releases the need to anticipate what comes next and you drop into a moving meditation where real embodiment becomes possible. The extended 2.5-hour container gives your nervous system the time it needs to shift and deepen into the felt sense of your body.

In this rhythm of sacred repetition, your nervous system finds safety. Your body remembers its wisdom. Your heart opens to receive.

The sacred isn't somewhere else

It lives within your own body.

In your womb, the blueprint of creation, a source of deep knowing. In your heart, and its capacity for love. In your inner vision, and the dreams guiding you forward. In your breath, its unceasing rhythm, always moving through you.

You’ve felt the threads of this moving toward you. In a yoga class. A women’s circle. A quiet moment of stillness. Something with no name opened, and something real moved.

And then ordinary life resumed, and you wondered what would it be like to live from that place.

This is the invitation. Presence, in this body, as a woman.

The sacred, immanent and alive.

What the wild woman knows

Beneath the good girl is a woman who was never trained out of her knowing, only taught to withhold it. Her sound. Her movement. Her clear yes, and her clear no. The intelligence that lives within you.

She isn’t wild in the sense of unruly. She’s wild in the oldest sense: untamed by what others expect her to be. Mostly she’s grounded, sovereign, at ease. And when something crosses her, a violation, a line, she knows it in her body before her mind catches up, and she doesn’t apologise for it. That, too, is her intelligence.

This practice is the invitation to welcome her fullness and explore how she moves you.

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be strong. This yoga isn’t about the shape. It’s about the felt sense, and you’ll always be invited to follow the organic impulse of your own body to move. Her movement, not the right movement.

And you don’t need to be quiet. Here, your authentic expression is welcomed (sound, breath, voice) as a way to drop deeper into your body and yourself. We sing. We let the body speak in its own language. Because the wild woman has never been silent.

This is a space to explore, through movement, presence and intention.

Across each evening, you'll be guided to

🌹 Connect with the wisdom held in your womb, heart and voice

🌹 Descend into your pelvic bowl and feel the vitality that lives there

🌹 Move intuitively, in ways true to your own body

🌹 Free your authentic sound through gentle voice and mantra

🌹 Rest deeply in restorative poses that replenish you

🌹 Drop into a container of presence with other women

🌹 Feel the subtle current of Shakti moving through you

Anointing. Each evening opens with rose-scented oil and an embodied meditation that invites you into presence and connection to your body.

Soundscape. Carefully curated playlists carry you deeper into embodied awareness.

Warmth. The fireplace of the Home Temple holds the space through the cold months, an intimate, candle-soft sanctuary.

Circle. We gather in the ancient formation where there’s no hierarchy. Every woman honours herself while held by the collective field.

A lit candle on an altar surrounded by flowers and greenery and draped in a red scarf, with yoga mats, rugs, cushions and bolsters arranged in the background.
I’m so grateful for the circles – they are incredibly grounding, nourishing and liberating, and I’m really starting to feel shifts from the cumulative effect too. It’s a beautiful journey each time with all the thoughtful details from the anointing essence at the start to the fire, altar space and poetry. And your personal flavour and gifts create the fullness of the experience – from the banging playlists, your infamous voice, the emotional safety to express and be held and witnessed and the deep feminine guidance to slowly and naturally weave us into connection with our bodies.

My journey to Shakti Yoga Flow

My journey to this work began in a place of disconnection. I used to feel numb, shut down and stagnant. I felt separated from my body wisdom, emotions, and the vitality I knew lived somewhere deep within me.

I still remember the day, years ago, where I stood by my fireplace feeling waves of sadness and grief washing through me. For the first time, I turned towards these feelings rather than away, allowing them to move me as I cried and sobbed. In that moment I realised the gentle practice of feminine yoga had created this capacity in me.
A woman in a white top and floral shawl stands by a tree, smiling and holding her hands on her stomach in a sunlit outdoor setting.

The slow, intentional movements in circle with other women had taught my body it was safe to feel, to be, to express.

I didn’t need to DO anything, but just BE.

The whispers of my intuition grew louder, and in one such class I received a vision of sharing these circles with other women in my own way. So I said yes. To really come home into my body, my senses, my feelings: this is the medicine I now share through Shakti Yoga Flow.

I highly recommend coming along. Kate’s classes are amazing, I’m loving them so much and they are helping me in all areas of my life. Plus I love how loved and supported we are in our beautiful circle – it feels so safe to be heard and to share.

Why a series and not a drop-in

The magic of this feminine embodiment series lies not in learning new sequences each week, but in the  transformation that happens when you return to the same sacred container repeatedly. Each session gently deepens your capacity to inhabit your feminine body with presence and trust.

Familiar Rhythm: As the need to figure out what comes next dissolves, you drop deeper into embodied awareness and authentic expression.

Cumulative Deepening: Week one, you might notice your breath. Week three, emotional movement. By the end, a felt sense of homecoming. Like water carving stone – gentle, and unmistakable.

Collective Alchemy. Practicing with the same women week after week creates something drop-in classes never can. As you witness each other unfold, you give yourself permission to go deeper.

At the heart of Shakti Yoga is the practice of embodiment… fully inhabiting and experiencing our bodies as sacred vessels for the divine.

Through gentle feminine yoga movements, you’ll be somatically guided through a flowing sequence that invites you to tune into your own unique rhythms. This isn’t about perfect poses or stretching beyond your limits.

This is about coming home to the wisdom that already lives within you.

This feminine yoga practice is specifically designed for women who:

Kate Dillon stands confidently by a tree, surrounded by three seated women in red outfits, in an outdoor, grassy setting.

🌷 Long to honour their feminine cycles and womb wisdom

🌷 Crave a safe space to simply be without achieving or performing

🌷 Want to feel alive in their body again through gentle embodiment

🌷 Feel disconnected from their body’s wisdom despite trying multiple approaches

🌷 Seek genuine connection with other women in sacred circle

🌷 Are ready to stop protecting themselves from what their body might reveal

If you’re ready to remember what it feels like to be truly present in your female body and to feel powerful in a way that’s soft, rooted, and unapologetically feminine, then this practice is calling you.

My Invitation to You

I welcome you to join me in this wild, passionate, and deeply fulfilling venture of knowing your body as a temple of revelation and wisdom.

May we feel it in our radiant and carefree smile.

May it be scented on our skin, and in our sweat and tears.

May it be seen in our movements and wild dance.

May we taste with pleasure the ripeness of our fullness, its sweetness and spiciness.

May it be heard in our ecstatic sounds and uninhibited expressions.

May we know it in our bodies, our bones and our blood.

May we BECOME who we are here to BE.

With love,
Kate

Yes! This is for all females. If you have had your womb removed, you still have the blueprint and energetic essence of the womb within you. During practice you will be invited to bring your awareness and attention to your womb space, and you can connect to the essence of this energy which still lives within you.

Nope!

All bodies, all shapes, all ages and all fitness levels are welcome. This practice is more about the FELT sense, rather than 'performing' or getting something 'right'. No prior experience is necessary.

You will be guided with somatic cues and encouraged to listen to the needs of your own body throughout the practice to make adjustments that meet the needs of your body. Upon registering you will be sent an intake form, please list any physical limitations or injuries there.
Each 2.5-hour circle follows a beautiful rhythm that includes:
