Sacred Restoration Circle

Rest with Harp

From movement to stillness.
From doing to being.

Friday 21 August 7pm to 8:30pm AEDT

90 minute Online Circle

All genders welcome

Join me and guest facilitator Vasudha Harte for an exquisite online circle where we’ll guide you on a movement journey before you surrender into a luxurious hour of Rest with Harp.

This sacred feminine embodiment practice opens with gentle grounding before flowing into embodied movement with mythological storytelling. Here we invite ancient wisdom to move through your body as living expression, allowing mythology to awaken within you, inspiring spontaneous movement as the story unfolds.

From this embodied journey, you’ll then be guided into Vasudha’s signature Rest with Harp practice – a unique fusion of restorative yoga and live harp therapy that bathes your entire system in healing resonance.

In Our Sacred Online Container

In our virtual circle, you’ll experience a carefully crafted journey that honors both your need for gentle movement and profound rest.
I’ll begin by guiding you to connect with your body with movement through a guided practice.

You’ll feel the awakening of energy as breath begins to move through your body like a soft tide… experience the pleasure of movement that asks nothing of you except to feel good in your own skin.

This movement practice isn’t about performance or achieving anything. It’s about coming home to yourself through gentle embodied awareness.

Then Vasudha will lead you into her signature Rest with Harp practice.

Imagine sinking into your nest of blankets and bolsters, feeling completely held and supported… the first notes of Vasudha’s harp washing over you like warm honey… vibrations moving through your body, releasing tension.

Imagine hearing the calming resonance of live harp music interwoven with a beautiful goddess mantra and Vasudha’s healing voice guiding you into the most profound rest.

The sacred mantras weaving through the soundscape, creating a cocoon of healing frequency around you… your nervous system finally exhaling into the deepest rest… the sensation of being held by something larger than yourself as restoration flows through every cell.

This is feminine embodiment at its most nurturing… a practice that honors your body’s wisdom while creating the space for your bodymind to remember how to truly restore.

This is the feeling of your shoulders melting away from your ears… of your jaw softening as the need to hold anything together simply dissolves… of breath becoming so deep and natural with ease.

We’ll complete with optional sharing for those who wish to express what’s moving through them after this deep journey.

Your Body's Wisdom Speaks

This online circle offers a chance for you to slow down – not through willpower – but through the nourishing conditions of movement, embodied storytelling, supported positioning, sound and intention. This creates the space to allow your bodymind to remember its natural capacity for restoration.

After years of facilitating these practices, I’ve learned our bodies already know how to rest deeply when given the right invitation.

This understanding of rest as revolutionary came from my own journey..

My own journey has taught me that the practices that truly transform us are the ones that feel like coming home rather than pushing through.

I’ve discovered that when we honor the natural movement of energy in our bodies, something magical happens. Rather than forcing ourselves into stillness, when we allow movement to flow and express, the body naturally finds its own exquisite state of rest.

This isn’t about making ourselves be still… it’s about letting movement guide us into the kind of deep nourishment that feels genuinely restorative rather than effortful.

This is why collaborating with Vasudha feels so aligned, as her Rest with Harp practice beautifully complements this journey. We will weave together movement, into supported rest with the beauty of sound, following the natural descent from movement into profound restoration.

The Revolutionary Power of Deep Rest

In a world that demands you constantly produce and perform…
that treats your body as a machine rather than a temple…
that has forgotten the revolutionary power of deep rest…
Your choice to prioritise profound restoration is an act of reclaiming your feminine power.

Your nervous system wasn’t designed for endless activation. Your body wasn’t meant to be pushed past its natural rhythms. Your heart wasn’t created to be constantly giving without receiving.
They’re meant to be nourished, restored, and honoured as the sacred vessels of your life force.

Choosing to rest deeply, to create sacred containers for your bodymind to remember its natural capacity for restoration, and to honour your body’s wisdom over society’s demands…
This is revolutionary.

This is an invitation to reclaim rest as your birthright and remember that your deepest healing happens not in the doing, but in the sacred surrender of being.

Frequently Asked Questions

Rest with Harp is a unique healing modality combining restorative yoga with live harp music. You'll be guided into deeply supported positions using props like bolsters and blankets while receiving the therapeutic sounds of live harp and gentle vocals. This practice activates your body's natural relaxation response, helping your nervous system shift into profound restoration.

Not at all! This online circle welcomes complete beginners. The movement portion is gentle and intuitive - there's no "right way" to move. You'll be invited to follow what feels good in your body rather than perform specific poses. The restorative portion simply involves lying comfortably with props.

You'll need items to create a comfortable nest: a bolster or pillows for under your knees, a cushion for your head, blankets for warmth, and an eye pillow or scarf to cover your eyes. We'll provide a setup video before the session to help you prepare your space. Most items can be found around your home.

This gentle practice is generally suitable during pregnancy and for most health conditions, as you control your level of participation. However, please consult your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns. You can modify any movement and find the most comfortable restorative position for your body.

Yes! The full 90-minute session will be recorded and available for 12 months after the live circle. This allows you to revisit the experience or catch up if you can't attend live. However, the magic of participating in real-time with live harp is truly special.

This online healing circle uniquely combines feminine embodiment movement with live harp therapy - not recorded music. The progression from gentle movement into deep rest follows your body's natural rhythm. The live element creates a shared energetic field that enhances the restorative experience beyond what you can achieve alone.
